Applied Porous Technologies, Inc. can engineer and build complete assemblies utilizing our sintered porous metal media. This may require any number of post-sintering process steps such as shaping, machining, laser cutting, or stamping of the media into a specific shape, press fitting or welding the media into a device, or the addition of some other hardware such as welding the media into a machined fitting. Post-handling of the porous media is similar to that of the base metal and, as such, the number of available configurations and end products is only limited by the number of applications investigated.
