Founded
in the Spring of 2000, Applied Porous Technologies, Inc. is a
world leader in the design, development
and manufacturing of sintered porous metal media, components and engineered assemblies. In less then a year, we assembled
a modest plant fully capable of producing a wide variety of products
for a constantly growing number of applications. Our press area
currently
has mechanical and hydraulic press capabilities ranging from 1⁄2
ton to over 100 tons. We operate several atmospherically controlled
sintering furnaces as well as a vacuum furnace for specialty applications
such as porous titanium products. Through our secondary operations
and alliances with outside industry partners, we also possess
complete secondary capabilities and can provide unique product
design and assembly services.
